Dr. Chen grew up in Northern Virginia and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Virginia. He attended the University of Washington School of Dentistry in Seattle and graduated in 1994. After passing the dental board exams in four regions, he furthered his dental training in a two year residency at the Unversity of Maryland Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his second year.
Dr. Chen far exceeds his yearly requirement for continuing education and has attained the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He also has served as clinical faculty for the University of Maryland Dental School at their hospital clinic and is a former dentist for the Baltimore Ravens.
In his spare time, Dr. Chen enjoys fishing, snowboarding and scuba diving.
Dr. Erny grew up in Baltimore County. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from James Madison University in 1994, with a concentration in English and Biology. Dr. Erny returned to Baltimore in 1996 where she graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in 2000. She continued her professional education through a two year general practive residency program at the Baltimore V.A. Medical Center, the second year as Chief Resident.
With over ten years experience, Dr. Erny has also received extensive traning in implant treatment planning and restoration, dental esthetics, and crown and bridge treatment, with a personal interest in adhesion dentistry.
Dr. Erny spends her time away from the office with her two daughters and enjoys yoga, cooking and playing the piano.
